Kristin Fisher joined CNN in 2021. The reporter will serve as the Space and Defense Correspondent. As a correspondent, she covers all aspects of space, from NASA and the recently created Space Force, to commercial space firms and the emergence in space travel. Kristin's parents are both NASA astronauts. Kristin spent her childhood in space and has now been a White House reporter for FOX News, covering both the Biden and Trump administrations on space issues. In that period, Kristin was also a reporter covering impeachment proceedings for the president, the 2020 Presidential campaign and the efforts of two administrations to stop the spread of the Coronavirus. She traveled extensively with both the president and vice-president also included a trip exclusive to Afghanistan, which she took together with Donald Trump. Prior to becoming a part of the company in, Kristin spent nearly a decade advancing through the local news channels in Grand Junction, Colorado; Little Rock, Arkansas; and Washington, D.C. where she won one Emmy Award as a one-man-band reporter for the Washington, D.C.'s CBS affiliate. With her experience on the set, Kristin created Field Mouse Films in 2014, which specialized in making documentary-style films for corporate clients, such as Uber and Starwood Hotels & Resorts. Kristin is a graduate in journalism from Boston University. She lives in Washington, D.C., along with her family members, including their 3-year-old daughter.
